In our annual newsletter 2004 our theme
was “Renewing your passion for God’s presence”.
This was very challenging words. Yet when we look back we
can truly say that this was a challenging year. It was a year
where our faith, perseverance, hope and character was tested,
but God is faithful and He will remain faithful.
The storms in our lives will not always be easy, but it is
written in the word of God that He will never leave us nor
forsake us. Our community outreach project continues to feed
about 800-1000 per month, once a week.
We have however discovered that there is definitely
more children than adults. We are still serving and
ministering to people with little or no hope for a future.
These are people who have accepted the circumstances they
are living in and don't realize that there is a better side
to life. Then there is also a testimony of one specific father
who has stopped drinking, started selling vegetables and who
is now able to put a bowl of soup on his own table for his
kids every night. Praise God!!! This clearly
tells us that God is still working.
Our blanket crusade was a great success. We collected blankets,
went into Kalkfontein and gave them out to various families
as the Holy Spirit led us to do. We were blessed that day,
but we also saw that the need for food and blankets is great.
Missionary work is the “Heart of God”,
because that is there the lost and wounded souls are. Let
us go out into the fields and accomplish that which God has
called us to do.
